A LITTLE ABOUT ME
My name is Haley Barefoot and yes, Barefoot is my last name. It fits me well because I do not like to wear shoes. I am 20 years old and you will most likely find me at the beach. I crave the ocean and my heart belongs to it. Not am I just a lover for the ocean I love being a people person. Making new friends is always exciting! I like to paint as well and seeking new adventures.
WANDERLUST CHILD
That's me! Wanderlust simply means - A strong desire to travel. I love wandering in new places. Seeing what is out there is my happy place and it's not just in one place either! I have been stuck in my hometown all my life and I must say, even though it's home, I much rather be somewhere else. I enjoy home, but there's much more I want to see in other places. I am always up on the go seeking for new adventures.
WHERE HAVE I BEEN... SO FAR?
People are always asking, "Where have you been, what place are you at now?" Well, like I said I've been pretty much stuck in my hometown, but I do somehow find time to get out of town every once in awhile. I have been up and down almost all of the East Coast. Also, I explore the small islands out in the river I live along. The Outer Banks is my second home. I am always there!
SO WHAT AM I DOING NOW?
I am still at home saving my pennies because my dream is actually to travel even further than just the East Coast. The West Coast has always been a dream. Australia, Hawaii, Costa Rica, The Philippines, Bali, Belize, and many others I would like to at least visit too. While at home I currently work full time and sell my paintings locally. I am also with a model agency, Hutson Talent in Virginia Beach.
I feel as if your life shouldn't be spent in just one place. This beautiful world has so much more to offer than just seeing the same things every day. I encourage people to get out there and see new things. It can change a person and it can open new doors for someone as well. You aren't a tree with roots that hold you down, you are a human with two feet that can move.
So wake up and live!
